The Colombo District Court has extended its enjoining order preventing former President Maithripala Sirisena from acting as the chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).
This extension is effective until May 9, following a lawsuit filed by former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga.
