Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in Mannar, Galle and Matara districts. 

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Uva province and in Batticaloa, Ampara and Hambantota districts.  

Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.

Condition of Rain:
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from
Batticaloa to Hambantota via Pottuvil. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several
places in the sea areas extending from Mannar to Matara via Colombo and Galle in the
evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be south-easterly or variable in direction and wind speed will be (20-30) kmph.
State of Sea:
The sea areas around the island will be slight.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
