Two individuals who were travelling in a three wheeler were killed in a shooting by a group arrived from a car at Thalgahawila, Moragahahena.
Police said the victims died upon their hospital admission.
According to police investigations, the shooting was carried by a group arrived in a white car.
Invetigations are underway to ascertain the motive behind the shooting and to arrest the suspects involved.
