A 31-year-old man was fatally shot, and another was injured in a shooting incident in Niripola, Hanwella, this morning.
Police identified the deceased as the brother of underworld gangster 'Manna Romesh.'
The shooting occurred while the victims were traveling in a cab in the Niripola area.
The injured were rushed to Awissawella Hospital, where one succumbed to their wounds.
