Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has announced a strategic partnership with Elephant House to bring Sri Lanka's beloved beverages to the shelves of India.
The partnership, unveiled yesterday, marks a collaboration between RCPL, the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) arm of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, and Elephant House, a renowned brand owned by Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
Under the agreement, RCPL will handle the manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and sales of Elephant House beverages in India, leveraging its extensive reach and expertise in the consumer goods market. Elephant House, with its rich heritage spanning over 150 years, boasts a diverse portfolio of beverages, including Necto, Cream Soda, EGB (Ginger Beer), Orange Barley, and Lemonade.
