The Navy women's Kabaddi team won the championship in a Kabaddi tournament held at the Mahaweli ground, Thambuththegama on 24th February 2024. In the meantime, the men's Kabaddi team of the Navy also secured third place in the tournament.v

The tournament was contested by a number of renowned sports clubs in the country. In the women's final, the Navy edged out their Air Force counterparts 30-27 and clinched the championship title. In addition, the men's Kabaddi team won third place in the tournament.
