The Aluthgama police are currently investigating the theft of Rs. 173,047, two gemstones valued at Rs. 100,000, visa cards, and a charger from a Chinese woman staying at a tourist resort in Moragalle, Aluthgama.
The Chinese woman in her complainant informed the police that these items were missing when she woke up after sleeping.
SOCO officers have been deployed, and investigations are underway.
The Aluthgama Police are conducting further inquiries into the matter.
