Invitation for applications for the position of Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has been called.

According to the Parliamentary Communications Department , applications are being accepted in compliance with the guidelines outlined in the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023.

Eligible individuals interested in applying for this position must adhere to the guidelines available on the Parliament's official website, www.parliament.lk, located under the “Quick Links” section, titled “Appointment of the Director General to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.”

The deadline for submission of properly filled-out applications is March 4, 2024. Applications should be sent via registered mail to the Secretary General of the Constitutional Council, Constitutional Council-Office, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, or via email to [email protected].

Furthermore, the statement specifies that the subject line of the email or the upper left corner of the envelope must contain the phrase “Appointment of Director General of Bribery or Corruption Allegations Investigation Commission.”

It has been noted that advertisements regarding this position will be published in national newspapers on February 11 and 12.
