The results of the 2022 G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination are set to be unveiled in the coming days, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha said.

In a statement made during today's parliamentary session, the Minister underscored that the release of the results faced a delay due to the prolonged commencement of paper-marking activities, stretching over a three-month period.

Addressing the situation, he remarked, "The postponement of examinations has contributed to the students growing older while awaiting their results."

Premajayantha highlighted the expeditious release of Grade 05 Scholarship Examination results, noting, "In the entirety of our history, results have never been disclosed within such a short timeframe of one month."

In addition, the Education Minister assured that all necessary preparations have been put in place to conduct the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination according to the initially planned schedule.

"While the A/L examination was originally slated for November, the delay in result publication prompted a rescheduled timeline," he explained.
