Chinese President Xi Jinping's Special Envoy and State Councillor Shen Yiqin commenced a four-day official visit to Sri Lanka today, scheduled until November 21.
Upon her arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe extended a warm welcome to the State Councillor.
The primary aim of State Councillor Shen Yiqin's visit is to explore and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, seeking new avenues for collaboration.
