The Galle Police have initiated an investigation following a complaint of gunfire directed at a person traveling in a three-wheeler in front of a Dadalla hotel by two individuals in a Wagon R-type car.
Police said the three-wheeler driver and his son had responded to a call instructing them to pick up two foreign nationals from a Dadalla hotel.
The shooting incident occurred while the driver and his son were inside the three-wheeler. No injuries reported in the shooting.
The Wagon R-type car used in the incident was discovered abandoned in the Bogahagoda area of Habaraduwa by the Galle Division Criminal Investigation Division.
Police conducting investigations to arrest the suspects involved in the shooting.
