Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa expressed his refusal to accept the Supreme Court's judgment regarding his alleged involvement in mishandling the economic crisis.
During a visit to Kandy on his birthday, he paid respects to the Sacred Tooth Relic.
When asked by the media about his stance on the Supreme Court's judgment in the fundamental rights petitions related to financial irregularities and mismanagement of the economy, Rajapaksa emphasized that he would not accept the judgment.
He further stated that he would elaborate on his reasons for this decision when given the opportunity.
