A bomb attack has targeted the residence of the notorious large-scale drug trafficker and organized criminal known as Dematagoda Ruwan in Veluwana, Dematagoda.
Police said that two bombs were hurled and one at the gate in front of the house, while the other one in the garden.
Dematagoda Ruwan is currently held in Boossa High Security Prison.. The motives behind the bombing remain unclear, and the Dematagoda Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
