Three individuals including the Chairman of the Central Environment Authority (CEA) who were arrested for soliciting a Rs. 10 million bribe, have been remanded until 16 November. 

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court issued the remand orders during the hearing today.

CEA Chairman Supun Shashendra Pathirage and two others were arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) on Friday evening for allegedly soliciting the bribe related to a CEA project.
