Colombo (ZiraDaily) - Sri Lanka Parliament has decided to hold a special meeting of party leaders to discuss and potentially pass a resolution for the removal of the office bearers of the SLC.
Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa suspended sessions in order to facilitate this meeting, which was requested by the Opposition.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa proposed the resolution following a statement by Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe regarding fraud and corruption within the SLC.
