The Managing Director of Operations at the World Bank, Anna Bjerde, is set to hold a meeting with President Ranil Wickremesinghe tomorrow as part of her official visit to Sri Lanka.

A World Bank delegation, led by Managing Director Anna Bjerde, arrived in the country the previous day. During their visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera and State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe.

Furthermore, the delegation visited various regions where projects, supported by the World Bank, have been initiated.

The delegation is scheduled to visit Jaffna today, continuing their exploration of Sri Lanka's development efforts.

Tomorrow, Managing Director Anna Bjerde will participate in a round table discussion involving multilateral financial institutions, with the President presiding over the discussions.
