Lanka IOC, the local subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation, has received a significant boost as the Sri Lankan government has renewed its Petroleum Products License for an additional 20 years.
This renewal allows Lanka IOC to continue its retail operations in Sri Lanka until January 22, 2044.
The news was conveyed by Dipak Das, the Managing Director of Lanka IOC PLC, in a letter sent to the Chief Regulatory Officer of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
This announcement, made in accordance with Section 8 of the Listing Rules of CSE, signifies the long-term commitment of Lanka IOC to serving the energy needs of Sri Lanka.
With the renewal of its license, Lanka IOC can continue to contribute to the development of the Sri Lankan energy sector and provide reliable and high-quality petroleum products to consumers across the country.
