The 13 employees of Milco (Pvt) Ltd. who were arrested on Wednesday, for allegedly holding Milco chairman Renuka Perera hostage, have been granted bail as per the orders of the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court.
Subsequently, the group was released today upon posting a surety bail of Rs. 500,000 each.
These 13 Milco employees were arrested by the Kollupitiya Police on the previous night, accused of holding the company’s chairman hostage during a dispute related to employee benefits.
