Preparations are reportedly underway for an operation to rescue the drug trafficker and organized criminal Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, also known as Harak Kata, using tactics reminiscent of suicide terrorists.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has informed Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage about these alleged preparations.
Additionally, the CID has informed that two individuals, who were recently arrested, have provided further information about the planned operation.
Accordingly, the Magistrate has instructed the CID to carry out additional investigations and present their findings to the court.
