In a cabinet reshuffle, several changes have been made to the composition of the cabinet by President Ranil Wickremesinghe. The reshuffle was announced this morning, and the following appointments have been made:
1. Mahinda Amaraweera has been appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries.
2. Keheliya Rambukwella has been appointed as the Minister of Environment.
3. Dr. Ramesh Pathirana has been assigned the additional responsibility of the Minister of Health, in addition to his current portfolio as the Minister of Industries.
4. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has been appointed as the Non-Cabinet Minister of Plantation Enterprises, in addition to his role as the State Minister of Finance.
These appointments were officially announced by the President Media Division (PMD) and were made at the Presidential Secretariat.
