Showers or thunder showers will occur over most places of the Island during the afternoon or night. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm can be expected at some places in Uva, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Easten provinces.

Showers may occur in coastal areas of southern province during the morning.

The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar will be moderate.

Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
