The Cabinet of Ministers has given its approval to a proposal put forward by the Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs, and Constitutional Reforms to establsih a new Commercial High Court, which will be located at No. 80, Justice Avenue, Colombo 12.
The Ministry emphasized that realizing the nation's development objectives necessitates the implementation of essential measures aimed at fostering an improved investment climate within the country.
The necessity for establishing a new Commercial High Court has arisen from the imperative need to expedite the resolution of the prevailing backlog of commercial cases, recognizing the urgency of the situation.
