Nadeesha wins silver in Women's Javelin at Asian Games

Sri Lanka's Nadeesha Dilhani Lekamge secured a silver medal in the women's javelin throw, marking a significant achievement as it represents Sri Lanka's first Athletics medal at the Asian Games in 17 years.

Dilhani clinched the silver with a remarkable personal best throw of 61.57 meters during the ongoing Asian Games championship in Hangzhou, China.

This victory also signifies Sri Lanka's return to the podium in Athletics at the Asian Games, following Susanthika Jayasinghe's triumph in 2006.
