An Air Force personnel has been killed and another injured following an explosion at the Kandakuliya Air Force Field Firing Range in Kalpitiya.
The injured airman has been promptly admitted to Kalpitiya Hospital for medical attention.
As of now, the cause of the explosion remains unidentified. A team from the Air Force Headquarters is being dispatched to Kandakuliya to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
