A textile businessman in Galle met a tragic end when he was fatally shot while traveling in his car on Dickson Road in Galle, Police said.
The victim, a 50-year-old entrepreneur who was the owner of a textile store in Galle city, fell victim to unidentified assailants.
Police said the suspects discharged multiple rounds at the victim, leading to his demise while he was seated in the driver's seat.
The Galle Police have launched an investigation into this incident.
