Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that domestic club cricket tournaments, which were temporarily halted, will resume starting today (22) .
Earlier this month, the Major Club 3-day tournament and the Tier B Club 3-day tournament were suspended due to a protest lodged with the Sports Ministry regarding changes made to the tournament structure.
The Ministry stated that they had not received consent for these changes, as they needed to approve any alterations to the SLC Constitution.
However, after discussions between SLC and the Ministry, consent has now been given, allowing the two tournaments to proceed
