Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana, who suffered a strained right hamstring in the Super 4 match against Pakistan on Thursday, has been ruled out of the finals.
Following a scan, it was revealed that Theekshana had sustained a muscle injury, prompting his return to the High Performance Centre for rehabilitation.
To compensate for his absence, all-rounder Sahan Arachchige has been called up to take his place in the squad.
