PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf has reached out to ACC President and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, proposing to relocate the Asia Cup 2023 matches to Pakistan due to anticipated heavy rainfall in Sri Lanka.
The matches, currently scheduled to take place in Colombo until September 17, are at risk of being affected by the inclement weather.
Last week, the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match in Kandy was unfortunately abandoned after the completion of the first innings, with India scoring 266 runs.
