The Kumbal Parashara is scheduled to commenced at 7.10 pm today from Sri Dalada Maligawa and will parade along Dalada Veediya, DS Senanayake Veediya,
Temple Road, Deva Veediya, Colombo Street, Yatinuvara Street and Raja Veediya before returning to the Dalada Maligawa. About 600 government officials have been deployed to provide facilities for the devotees.
.The final Randoli Perahera will be held on the Nikini Full Moon Poya Day on 30th August . The Kandy Esala Perahera will conclude with a daytime Perahera and water cutting ceremony on the following day on 31st August with the presentation of the Sandeshaya to the President at the President’s House in Kandy.
