The Public Service Commission has cleared former Bribery Commission DG Dilrukshi Wickremasinghe who was interdicted and sent on compulsory leave by the Public Service Commission following a tape recording of a telephone conversation being uploaded on Youtube and broadcast over sections of the media in September 2019.


Investigation reports relate to a recording of a telephone conversation between Wickremasinghe and Avant-Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi.

The Moratuwa University and Government Analyst’s Department reports said the recording is an edited one. Following a complaint in this regard she was interdicted on September 24, 2019.Wickremasinghe is retired and with this decision by the PSC, she will be entitled to the salary arrears and perks.
