Throughout his tenure, Nadarasa held various key positions within Hutchison Telecommunication subsidiaries, culminating in his role as CEO of Hutch Sri Lanka. Under his guidance, the organization has achieved remarkable results in an intensely competitive market.
Saumitra rejoined Hutch Sri Lanka in 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer, after his secondment to Hutchison Indonesia. He was instrumental in reorganising the commercial division and generating positive customer and revenue growth for the organisation.
He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industry spanning over Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering and postgraduate in telecom management, with specialisation in marketing and finance.
