MP Namal Rajapaksa, who is currently in remand custody over the Krrish deal, was brought before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (03).
The complaint filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in connection with the transaction is scheduled to be taken up before the Colombo Chief Magistrate today.
When the case was last taken up on October 28, the Colombo Magistrate’s Court announced that its order on Namal Rajapaksa’s bail application would be delivered today.
The order was scheduled to be issued after considering submissions made by both the Bribery Commission and the suspect’s lawyers regarding the bail application.
