Namal Rajapaksa brought to Colombo magistrate’s court

Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who is currently in remand custody, has been brought to the Colombo Magistrate’s Court by prison officials.

The case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) is scheduled to be taken up today (October 23) before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.

Namal Rajapaksa was brought to court to be produced before the magistrate in connection with the case.
