President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to address a public rally in Gampaha today (September 27) as part of the nationwide rally series themed “People’s Rule – Two Years Strong. Progress for All.”
According to an announcement published on the President’s official social media account, the rally will commence at 3.30 p.m., with live coverage beginning at the same time.
The Gampaha rally is part of a series organised by the National People’s Power (NPP) to mark two years of its government. Similar rallies have already been held in several parts of the country, with President Dissanayake participating.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Gampaha Municipal Sports Ground.
