Around Rs. 65 million in cash and gold jewellery have been stolen from a travel agency in the Thalawathugoda area, police said.
According to preliminary investigations, four individuals arrived at the travel agency in a car yesterday afternoon (September 1) and allegedly carried out the robbery before fleeing the scene.
Police said the suspects had stolen approximately Rs. 65 million in cash along with gold jewellery from the premises.
Thalangama Police have launched further investigations to identify and arrest the suspects.
