Model Rozanne Diaz has urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and speculation following the sudden death of well-known Sri Lankan model, actress and pageant trainer Chulpadmendra Kumarapathirana at the age of 46.
Kumarapathirana had successfully hosted a pageant event at Waters Edge the previous evening and remained actively involved in the industry until her sudden death.
Diaz described the incident as an extremely painful moment for Kumarapathirana’s family, loved ones, friends and those who worked closely with her.
She appealed to the public not to circulate false or unverified information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death.
Diaz also urged people to avoid speculation that could interfere with ongoing investigations and refrain from prematurely blaming any individual.
She called on the public to await the findings of the official investigations and respect the privacy of the grieving family during this difficult time.
