The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar today (31), compared to last Friday, according to the latest exchange rates released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

The CBSL’s indicative exchange rate shows that the buying rate of the US Dollar has declined from Rs. 323.51 on Friday to Rs. 323.42 today.

Meanwhile, the selling rate has also fallen from Rs. 332.66 to Rs. 332.48.

The US Dollar selling rate in the market is reported at around Rs. 332.00.

The Rupee has, however, recorded only marginal movements against several other major currencies, including currencies of Gulf countries.
