Sri Lanka Police have appealed to the public for information to help locate three Chinese nationals wanted in connection with an alleged abduction and murder at Colombo Port City.
According to police, the incident occurred on July 23, 2026, when a group of three Chinese nationals was reportedly attacked. One of them was allegedly abducted and subsequently killed.
The Colombo Crimes Division has arrested two suspects in connection with the incident, and they have been remanded in custody. Investigations are continuing to locate three other suspects believed to have been involved.
Police said the three wanted individuals had entered Sri Lanka on tourist visas, which have since expired. Authorities have warned that they may attempt to leave the country illegally by air or sea.
Police have released photographs and details of the wanted suspects and urged anyone with information about their whereabouts to immediately inform the authorities.

- Lu Gao — Passport No. EP6558337
- Xiang Huacheng — Passport No. EM4832130
