The Nawalapitiya–Ginigathhena Road has been temporarily closed at the Walapitiya area due to the risk of a landslide.
According to the Nawalapitiya Divisional Secretary, the road was closed temporarily at 6:30 p.m. today as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and follow updates from local authorities until the road is declared safe for travel.
