The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has announced that there will be no revision to electricity tariffs for the third quarter of 2026.

According to the Commission, the existing electricity tariff structure will remain unchanged during the period, meaning consumers will continue to pay the current rates without any adjustments.

The decision comes following the Commission's review of the prevailing electricity pricing framework and cost considerations. As a result, households, businesses, and other electricity consumers will not face any tariff changes for the third quarter of the year.

The PUCSL stated that the current tariff structure will continue to be in effect until the next scheduled review, ensuring price stability for electricity consumers across the country.
