India have named a 15-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka, with Shubman Gill set to lead the side and KL Rahul appointed as vice-captain.
The squad includes Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Sai Sudharsan, Dhruv Jurel, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Manav Suthar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Devdutt Padikkal and Saransh Jain. Saransh Jain has received his maiden Test call-up for the series.
The first Test between Sri Lanka and India is scheduled to begin on August 15 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, with both teams aiming for a strong start to the two-match series.
