The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2026 GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination will be held from August 10 to September 5 at 2,532 examination centres across Sri Lanka.
Admission cards for school candidates have already been sent to the relevant Zonal Education Offices, while private candidates will receive their admission cards by post.
Both school and private candidates can correct any errors in their admission cards through the Department's official online portal. The deadline for submitting corrections is 12:00 midnight on August 3, and no extension will be granted.
