Kandy Royals defeat Dambulla sixers by 43 runs in LPL clash

Kandy Royals secured a convincing 43-run victory over Dambulla Sixers in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) match played on the night of July 21.

 After being asked to bat first, Kandy Royals posted a competitive total of 194 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Lahiru Udara led the batting effort with a well-made 51 runs.

In reply, Dambulla Sixers were restricted to 151 for 8 in their 20 overs, falling 43 runs short of the target.

Despite the defeat, Sahibzada Farhan produced a fighting knock of 74 runs, which included four sixes and seven fours.

With the ball, Nuwan Thushara starred for Kandy Royals, claiming four wickets to help seal a comprehensive victory.
