SriLankan Airlines has temporarily suspended all flight operations to Kuwait due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East, the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) announced.
According to the airline, flights to and from Kuwait have been suspended from July 20 until July 26, 2026, as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
Passengers affected by the temporary suspension are advised to seek further information or travel assistance by contacting SriLankan Airlines through its customer service channels. Those within Sri Lanka can call 1979, while international passengers may contact +94 11 777 1979. Assistance is also available via WhatsApp (+94 74 444 1979) for chat support only. Travelers may also contact their respective travel agents or visit the official SriLankan Airlines website for the latest updates and rebooking information.
