A fire broke out this morning (19) at a housing complex located near the Rathmalana Economic Centre.
According to initial reports, the blaze originated on the second floor of the residential building. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Two fire engines from the Dehiwala Fire Brigade were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Firefighters acted swiftly and successfully brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building.
