According to the advisory, elevated temperatures combined with humidity could increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, particularly for individuals engaging in prolonged outdoor activities.
Health officials urge the public to remain well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water, avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight, and limit strenuous outdoor work or exercise during the hottest hours of the day.
Vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with chronic medical conditions, are advised to take extra precautions and seek shade or cool environments whenever possible.
