The government is scheduled to present the Second Reading of the 2027 Appropriation Bill in Parliament on November 12, 2026, according to the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry said the Appropriation Bill will be published in the Government Gazette on September 18, before being presented for its First Reading in Parliament on October 7.
Prior to that, the draft 2027 Appropriation Bill, which outlines the proposed expenditure allocations for each ministry, is expected to be submitted to the Cabinet for approval on September 14.
The Ministry further announced that the Second Reading debate on the Budget will be held from November 13 to November 20, while the Committee Stage debate is scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 14.
