The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka, Ms Miyon Lee, who is concluding her diplomatic tenure, paid a farewell call on the Secretary to the President, Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (10).
During the meeting, Ambassador Lee recalled the longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and the Republic of Korea and expressed her appreciation for the cooperation and collaboration extended in implementing a range of new initiatives.
The Secretary to the President commended the Government of the Republic of Korea for its continued support towards Sri Lanka's development, as well as its cooperation with the anti-corruption programme launched following the new Government's assumption of office.
Senior Additional Secretary to the President Roshan Gamage and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka, Ms Eunji Kang, were also present at the meeting.
