Former Afghanistan fast bowler Shapoor Zadran has died in India after battling an illness, according to Afghan cricket sources. He had been receiving medical treatment at a hospital in India for some time.

Zadran was one of Afghanistan's pioneering fast bowlers and played a key role in the national team's rise on the international stage.
