The Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy has appointed Commander (N) Chaminda Walakuluge as the new Director of Naval Media.
The new appointment came into effect on July 1, 2026. Commander Walakuluge succeeds the previous office holder and will now lead the media and communication operations for the island nation's naval forces.
